Homecoming set for Oct. 4 at Rusty Nail

JMC's Homecoming 2003 festivities are scheduled for Saturday,
October 4 at the Rusty Nail in Twin Lakes, just north of Kent.
A
super buffet supper will be followed by a brief awards program
and then an evening of socializing and dancing to a popular
local band.
There
also will be an important fund-raising event. As more information
becomes available, we'll have it here.
At
last year's homecoming, more
than 130 faculty, alums and friends gathered for a dinner
and silent auction.
The
event celebrated the 70th year since Kent State University
began offering public relations courses. The event raised
about $3,900 to endow public-relations scholarships.
Among
the honorees were retired public relations faculty, E. Zoe
McCathrin and Ralph C. Darrow.
