Hyangsook Lee joined Kent JMC in Spring 2007 as an assistant professor in information design.

Before coming to Kent, Hyangsook was business designer of the Louisville
Courier-Journal from 2004-2006, graphic designer of the Nashville Tennessean from 1998-2003, and spent the summer on the New York Tmes in 1998 and on Newsday in 1997.

She received her bachelor's degree in Engineering from Hongik University in
Seoul, Korea, and her master's degree in Education from Ohio University. She did additional study at the Watkins College of Art and Design in
Nashville.

She teaches informational graphics, newspaper design and magazine design.
