| Rob
has more than 30 years of experience
in public relations. He was
vice president of corporate
communications for The BFGoodrich
Company and had management
responsibilities for that firm’s
external and internal communications.
In
1999 he founded his own
public relations consulting
company and began teaching
journalism as an adjunct
faculty member at the Kent
State University Stark Campus.
Rob
holds bachelor’s and
master’s degrees in
journalism from Kent State
and is an Accredited member
of the Public Relations
Society of America.
In
addition to teaching, Rob
coordinates a student-run
public relations firm that
is a joint project of the
School of Journalism and
Mass Communication and Kent
State’s office of
University Communications
and Marketing.
