Bill Sledzik joined the Kent State faculty
in 1992 after a 15-year career in public
relations counseling. That career included
five years as head of his own firm, Sledzik
& Associates, in Buffalo, N.Y., and
service to such clients as General Motors,
Uniroyal Tire Co., the Stroh Brewery Co.
and Waste Management of North America.
Sledzik
teaches courses in public relations research
& planning, public relations writing
and public relations campaigns. He also
teaches "Media Writing" and "Ethics
& Issues in Mass Communication"
and advises the Kent State Chapter of the
Public Relations Student Society of America.
