PRSSA Kent wins third national award
Kent State public relations students were recently honored with a Teahan National Chapter Award presented by the Public Relations Student Society of America.
PRSSA Kent received the award for an Outstanding Chapter Web Site. The award was announced at the national conference of the Public Relations Student Society of America in Philadelphia. The Web site's design and content was reconstructed last year and now includes information such as chapter meetings, events and fundraising opportunities. The site is ranked in Google's top 10 results for the keyword “PRSSA.” Learn more
PRKent Donate Life Ohio team needs help
As Kent State University public relations students are nearing the end of the Do It Now College Challenge, they are doubling their efforts to reach their goal of registering 14,571 new organ donors. To date, the Kent State students have already registered more than 10,000 donors at 69 percent of their goal. Your help is needed to save lives and support the PRKent team.
The challenge is a statewide competition among 13 colleges and universities in Ohio sponsored by Donate Life and the Second Life Trust Fund. Each university participating in the challenge has its own predetermined registration goal, which is based on its surrounding population and is to be reached by May. Learn more
