Even though I have worked as one for half a decade, I have known for years that I never wanted to become a full-time writer. I love words and the impact they carry, but I always knew I wanted something else. After brief stints in reporting and online journalism, I've finally made photography my full-time passion and goal, and for good reason.

In one image, I can capture what millions of words, written

in the most eloquent way, can never capture. In an image, you can see someone's soul - their past, present, future and everything in between. Using my experiences from writing, reporting, public relations, online journalism and my growing love of photography, I want to see where my work will take me and see what stories I can tell.

As of April 2006, I'm in my third year at Kent State, studying photojournalism, Arabic and Web design. I work as a reporter at the Akron Beacon Journal (hey - it pays the bills), an Apple Computers campus rep and a freelance photographer, writer and publicist. If any of my work is of any merit, it's because of those people who believed in me enough to push me to do what I do now. Without encouragement from fellow friends and photographers - especially Rami - I would have never found such happiness in my work. I'm lucky to be surrounded by so much greatness.
