Jason Kaye

I I graduated from Kent State in May of 2000 with a degree in Visual Journalism after transferring as a junior from Tacoma Community College in Washington State. I worked at the Daily Kent Stater during my entire stay at KSU and was the photo editor for 3 semesters.

I currently work for The News Tribune as a contract photojournalist for the Northwest Guardian at Fort Lewis, Washington. I also spend the last weekend of every April coordinating logistics at the Churchill Downs Photojournalism Workshop.

Prior to working as a photojournalist, I spent 8 years in the U.S. Army infantry. I've traveled extensively and lived in Florida, Georgia, Texas, Ohio, Washington, Indiana, Utah and Germany. I currently live outside Tacoma with my wife, two children and a couple dogs. View Images.
